Keith Strong
The Strong Legacy
As a long-time Burlington resident, Keith Strong has made it his mission to make Burlington a better place for everyone.
Before retiring, Keith spent years fine-tuning his business skills as an entrepreneur. Thanks to his dedication to fostering community growth, Burlingtonians get to profit off these hard-earned skills.
Over the years Keith has taken part in all levels of community service. He has served on the board of many local non-profit institutions including, but not limited, to the Burlington Performing Arts Centre, Halton Heroes, and the Burlington Community Foundation. Keith has also sponsored the work of many charities and cultural organizations such as Healthy Reflections, Halton Women’s Place, and the Art Gallery of Burlington.
It is no surprise that Keith’s tireless philanthropic energy has been recognized on a local and provincial level. Among his many awards, Keith was named Burlington’s Citizen of the Year in 2003. While in 2006, he was awarded the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship, an honour that recognizes individuals who have made exceptional commitments to improving the health and prosperity of their communities over a long
period of time.
