Temporary closure of Joseph Brant Museum

Construction of the Joseph Brant Museum Transformation project is underway as of October 2017 and is expected to take 18 months. The museum will expand to 17,000 square feet, and will incorporate the Joseph Brant house into a design that includes environmentally friendly features. The museum will be expanded to provide barrier-free space for gallery displays, interactive programming, the storage of collections and community outreach.
