Facility Rentals & Tours

GROUP AND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

The grounds at Ireland House Museum provide a rustic and relaxed backdrop for group or wedding photography.

 

Grounds rental is available in two hour time slots, weekdays from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm for $100, plus tax.

Weekend and evening rentals are $150, plus tax. Rental includes access to 3.68 acres of park-like gardens and woodlands. 

 

For private parties and special event rentals, please contact us directly to discuss your needs.


The Helen Ireland Caldwell Program Room comfortably accommodates 15-30 people depending on the set-up and includes the use of a kitchenette. Group tours of the Museum can be arranged as an add-on.

 

Meeting Room Size: approx. 19’ x 21’ (400 sq ft)

Capacity: 30 (chairs only) or 15-30 (tables + chairs)

 

The rate is $40 per hour weekdays, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Weekend and evenings are $100 per hour, plus tax.

Please note:

  • The use of a limited number of tables, chairs and picnic tables is included in the rental fees.
  • Set up, take down and cleanup is not included.
  • Food leftovers and waste removal is the responsibility of the rental party.
  • All prices subject to HST where applicable.

TOURS

Enjoy a formal guided tour of Ireland House, provided within your admission fee. The extensive tour by education staff is nothing short of a 'portal to the past'; covering three generations of the Ireland family's history. Experience all aspects of the house and grounds, from the 1840 parlour and hearth to the 1920s kitchen. Please allow 45-60 minutes for your visit. No flash photography is permitted.

BOOKED TOURS DURING PUBLIC HOURS

·      A deposit of $50.00 is required at the time of booking.  

·      Written cancellations received five (5) business days prior to the tour date the deposit, less a $20.00 administration fee is refundable.  

·      After five (5) business days, the full deposit is non-refundable.

 

Adult - $5.50 plus H.S.T.

Senior/Student - $5.50 plus H.S.T.

Child (3-12 years) - $3.00 plus H.S.T.

Child (under 3) - FREE

 

Individuals pay at the appropriate rate shown above.

 

Option:  Light refreshments (beverage & cookies) can be included for an additional $1.50/person. 

Must be ordered a minimum of 2 days in advance of the booking.

 


 

BOOKED TOURS EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS

Minimum booking number is 15.

 

Adult - $7.00 plus H.S.T.

Senior/Student* - $6.50 plus H.S.T.

Child (3-12 years) - $5.00 plus H.S.T.

Child (under 3) - FREE

 

*Student is 12+

 

Option:  Light refreshments (beverage & cookies) can be included for an additional $1.50/person. 

Must be ordered a minimum of 2 days in advance of the booking.


 

BUS TOURS:  TOUR & HERITAGE EXPERIENCE

·      Minimum booking number is 15.  Driver & Host are free.

·      A deposit of $75.00 is required at the time of booking.  

·      Written cancellations received five (5) business days prior to the tour date the deposit, less a $20.00 administration fee is refundable.  

·      After five (5) business days, the full deposit is non-refundable.

·      Tour price includes craft materials & light refreshments (beverage & baked goods).

·      Program may be themed depending on the season.

25% discount for groups of 40 or more.
