O Canada Summer Camp 2017
Ireland House Museum

Join us this summer to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada and Ontario! Four of our five weeks will focus on 1867 and provide campers a fun, hands-on opportunity to step back in time to experience life at the founding of our country and province. Our last week will cover the last 150 years of Canadian history, featuring highlights from around the country! Every camper, whether you register for the day or the week, will receive an official Canada 150 takeaway thanks to the support of TD Bank Group! Limit one per camper.

Camp at the Museums of Burlington is a fun-filled, highly interactive experience for children to learn, meet new friends and leave a lasting impression for years to come.  Throughout the year we offer children different camp experiences to correspond with their free time during the school year as well as in the summer.  For instance, during the school year we offer a March Break Camp as well as additional camps on PA days and in the summer we offer five camps during July and August.
The Museums of Burlington have designed our camps in a way that each camp has a theme for the week and each day pertains to the overall theme. But what is great is that every day is an individual day with different activities so that if you only wish to come to camp one day, a few days or all the days, you won’t miss out on a thing!  The camps are a way to build on skills and develop new approaches to concepts, ideas and even different media. So every day of camp is a new experience!
Our camps are open to anyone between the ages of 5 and 12.
Our camp day begins at 9:00 am and ends at 4:00 pm, accommodating morning and mid-afternoon nutrition breaks as well as a lunch time.  Nutrition items and lunches are NOT provided.
Please be aware that the Museums of Burlington programs are peanut free!
We also ask parents to send children appropriately dressed and protected for the weather via winter or summer gear!
Please note that the cost and times of camps may change at any time. Please call ahead to inquire.
*****NOTE: Camp at the Museums of Burlington is very popular but has limited space available.  Please call to pre-register for camp in order to save a place on our list.  Thank you.
